A brief summary of my summer hols - Part 1
I have finally got some time to blog about my holidays!! whoo hoo. I know its a LITTLE overdued but I am trying my best ok. My computer is freaking slow in uploading pics and hence this took me almost 2 days to upload all the pics.
Trip #1- Kelong in CCK.I went to kelong for a one night stay over the weekend in the month of july. It is qt a nice change for the usual rush hours esp u work in raffles place. Thanks to baby's friends that we managed a nice stay at the kelong at CCK and a nice fresh seafoodie bbq. YUM YUM.

dogs of the kelong! so ke ai right! esp the one with the blue bowl behind. he is damn cute la! I was so tempted to carry him home but I have already got waffle. And i think waffle might just gobble him up.

he is so cute and of cos we must carry him out. Baby had to brave his hostile parents and carry him out. He looked half asleep in this picture but still damn cute! I can totally relate him him! ( for the cute-ness of cos!)

baby trying to be funny as usual. the place is really breezy and cold....

this is the kelong side of the sea, the other side are all the high rise buildings. Such a sharp contrast.
It is qt a good experience but I think it will be a long time before I go there again. They got a lot of mosquitoes there!!! ARGH. And its pretty boring there...
TRIP #2- Malacca, Malysia( Truly Asia)
Of course, I had to go on a trip during this summer hols. but due to financial constraints, we can only go somewhere nearer and this time we chose malacca which is full of historical and cultural stuff. And what's more, just a few days before we went, it was recognized as one of the world's historical sites. Whoo hooo. ( but like its any of our business, haha)
Malacca Trip- Day 1We arrived at around 2 plus and of course we were hungry! So, we decided to try their famous chicken rice balls( which is not exactly v good but ok la). we wanted to go the other local chix rice balls but its already closed by the time we reached! It shows how good it is. So, we die die also must try before we went back and hence, we managed to get a bite before coming back to sg on the last day.

me and chix rice balls and wanton soup. the waton soup, surprisingly, turns out qt nice.

the restaurant is built like the palace and hence they have decors like these for tourists to take pictures. totally a good gimick and there are tons of tourists around and hence gave us the delusion that the food is good there.

me and the sculptured walls. but actually, most of the pictures are repeated. haha. We ended the day with pasam malam dinner at Jonker Street. The food is very very nice as we packed back to our hotel and had a satisfying and cosy dinner.
Malacca-Day 2
me having bfast at our hotel. we din take any pics of the hotel room( in case of...) but the hotel room is qt spacious and nice and of course at a reasonable rate.

The first museum we visted. This is actually the start of a long and strenous museum trips. For ppl who dun really like to visit museums, malacca should not be that fun for u! but for me, i love museums! haha.

the nice shade of blue against the buildings as I was taking the colorful ricksaw around the town.

cheng ho- the founder of malaaca( i think). The details are a bit blurry now. haha

The big Cheng ho. Super hot day la! I feel so sad for him.

The Frontosa Fort. These are the remains and those stone slabs at the back are mostly tombstones.

Malacca was once under Holland and this is the one of the few remainding windmills left.

The big big Ship! saw it on the first day, thought it was a real ship left behind by the colonial masters. It turned out that this is a musuem that was built a few years back.

baby weird pose #1

we were on top of this tower that overlooks the entire town of malacca! looked how burned I am! So ugly, but it really fits my top color. haha.

satay cilup. It doesnt taste that good. But I think at that point of time, we were not very hungry and hence this does not taste v appetizing. haha.

our surprise discovery as we rode around trying to find supper for the night. Totally not dressed for this pretty ferris wheel. Damn lok kok la!

me and baby in the ferris wheel. Due to it was qt late at night, they gave us like damn many rounds on the ferris wheel. We were clamouring to get out after he finally put us down. haha.
Malacca- Day 3
The famosa fort at Malacca

Cannons

Lao Pok Fighter plane

A train in the middle of nowhere.

Baby weird pose #2

Baby weird pose #3- he trying to pull the train. So MAN.

me and the cows with crazy eyes.

the last picture of trip in the last musuem we visited. We paid 2 Rm to walked through qt a lousy musuem and this model ship is probably the most interesting artefact around.
Tada! this sums up my part 1 of my trip! next up, i will show some pictures of outings with friends!
